My stuff

So, an online friend asked a group of us about our "stash" being organized. I have several stashes for several different crafts. I like to think it is all pretty organized. See for yourself. First picture is of my satin and grosgrain ribbon which is used to make curly hairbows for my daughter.

  • I have looked everywhere for the details of how to do this! What is the combination of cornstarch to water that is used to make these ribbons? And what temperature do you bake them at? Thank you.

  • I didn't use cornstarch. There is a fabric stiffening spray that I bought at Joann's that I sprayed on after baking. I can't remember the temperature I baked them at but I think it was something like 200 or 225. Just be careful with the clothespins, you don't want your oven to catch on fire.
